My name is Tanja Ting and I was suffering for many years with stress, dizziness, anxiety, mood swings, hormonal unbalance, pain in my back, hands and the list goes on…
I had been scanned and seen many specialist – but without any positive results. Then in January 2014 a friend was talking about Candida and I did a test and found out that I had an extreme over-growth of candida yeast infection in my body. Unfortunately the only way to combat candida over-growth is by starving it. So I had to completely change my diet.

No sugar
No fruit
No flour
No alcohol
No yeast
No dairy
No carbohydrates
No red meat…and the list goes on.
And 3 months later I felt great and like a new person. I am now candida free and all my symptoms are gone.

What is Candida?

Candida is a genus of yeasts and is the most common cause of fungal infections worldwide. Many species are harmless commensals or endosymbionts of hosts including humans; however, when mucosal barriers are disrupted or the immune system is compromised they can invade and cause disease. Candida albicans is the most commonly isolated species, and can cause infections (candidiasis or thrush) in humans.

Many species are found in gut flora, including C. albicans in mammalian hosts, whereas others live as endosymbionts in insect hosts.

Systemic infections of the bloodstream and major organs (candidemia or invasive candidiasis), particularly in immunocompromised patients, affect over 90,000 people a year in the U.S.

The DNA of several Candida species have been sequenced.
Antibiotics promote yeast infections, including gastrointestinal Candida overgrowth, and pe*******on of the GI mucosa. While women are more susceptible to ge***al yeast infections, men can also be infected. Certain factors, such as prolonged antibiotic use, increase the risk for both men and women. People with diabetes or impaired immune systems, such as those with HIV, are more susceptible to yeast infections.
