👩🏻 “I was going to put it off a week as work is rammed”
My reply, as I already know her…
👨🏽🦲 “Well you’re always busy so lets just crack on”
⚖️ The result… 3lbs off despite a few missed sessions due to working until 9pm some evenings and even working on Sunday
So lets think about what a successful diet actually looks like
Of course it should result in the physical change you desire, but there is a much deeper ending that I gauge true “success” on
Can it be molded around your life and stresses that you encounter on a daily basis?
And for the majority of you, that will be work and family
Are you able to continue that way of eating and exercising at the end of your “diet phase”
If not you’re setting yourself up for failure and falling back into the bad habits that triggered you needing to start a diet in the first place
Without a process driven diet you will always find yourself back at square one
⌚️ Also…. Stop wasting months or even years of your life waiting for the right time
It’s now
Get started and roll with the punches
Its the only way to build bulletproof habits and coping mechanisms that can see you through anything life throws at you
Otherwise you will always be “on or off” with it as you’re constantly putting it on the back burner the moment life gets a little bit iffy
And lets be honest, most of you are just putting it off because you’re scared
And thats completely fine an understandable, but its not getting you nearer to being happy and living the life you want for you and your family
Are you ready to get started?

Why Mums struggle to lose weight…..
It’s not willpower or a lack of discipline
It’s….
➡️ A lack of time
➡️ Constant interruptions
➡️ Everyone else coming first
➡️ Years of false information and shaming
So let’s stop blaming yourself and start making life easier for you
Let’s work smarter!
✅ Keeping breakfast and/or lunch the same through the week saves time and money
✅ Be more realistic with exercise commitments
You may feel you need to go “hardcore” and push yourself every day, but how often does that actually work out?
✅ Do more of what you enjoy rather than whats popular on social media
✅ Aim for an amount of steps that are a challenge but you can be consistent with
If you can’t do 10,000 steps per day, STOP aiming for it. It’s not the magic number people make it out to be
✅ Don’t be scared to ask for help. You spend so much time looking after everyone else, who’s looking out for and supporting you?

Gym etiquette - what’s your thoughts?

Last weekend our little sausage turned 5
So I know you didn’t ask, but here’s some things I’ve learned in 5 years as a parent
1️⃣ I find it very hard to be “present” and just enjoy the moment. I know how quick this phase in her life will be over
2️⃣ As stressful as the morning school run can be, I’m glad I’m lucky enough to be able to do drop off and pick up around my work
3️⃣ Single parents… I honestly have no idea how you do it. A huge amount of respect to you
4️⃣ There is no “off switch”.
Please if anyway knows of one, let us know
5️⃣ My wife is a million times better at this than I am
