🌎 Recent work: The Climate-Conflict-Vulnerability Index provides a bird’s eye perspective on some of the most pressing global risks today.
Together with , and Jan Johannes, I help the team at the German Federal Foreign Office to make this important data source relevant for policy decision. We also support the associated research project with data visualization and science communication.

I don't usually do many print graphics, so the recent recognition from the Malofiej awards — the self-proclaimed "Pulitzers of infographics" — is especially exciting!
Our project "Language of Science" won silver in the print feature category. It investigates the shifts in word usage over the 175 year (!) history of the magazine Scientific American.
