After 3,5 years of building an online business, I honestly think people make this way more complicated than it needs to be.

Of course there’s a lot to learn. But the fundamentals are actually pretty simple: learn the business, learn how to market and communicate, work on yourself, invest in yourself, help people and keep showing up.

These are the things I saw other people doing when I first got started, the things I’ve worked on myself and the same things I now focus on with my own team.

I’ve seen these foundations create results across our community and in my own team and these are the same things I help people focus on today.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. But you do need to be willing to learn, take action and keep going.

I didn’t have savings when I started.

I didn’t have a financial safety net.

I had debt, maxed-out credit cards and a salary that was already covering my life.

And I still decided to invest in building something of my own.

Not because I knew it would work. I didn’t.

I was scared. I questioned myself. I thought about what could go wrong. But waiting the moment when I’d felt “ready” was also a decision.

And that decision had a very predictable outcome: Nothing would change.

I get it. I was there too.
