ሀረር፤ ግንቦት 22/2018 (ኢዜአ)፦ ጠቅላላ ምርጫው በሚካሄድበት ዕለት በካርዳችን ለሀገር ልማት ይበጃል የምንለውን የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ ለመምረጥ ተዘጋጅተናል ሲሉ የሐረር ከተማ ወጣቶች ገለጹ።

ከከተማው ወጣቶች መካከል ወጣት ዘይኑ አርጋው በህገ መንግስቱ የተሰጠኝን መብት ለመጠቀም የምርጫ ካርድ ወስጃለሁ ብሏል።

በድምጽ መስጫው ቀን ለሀገር እና ለህዝብ ይጠቅማል የምለውን ፓርቲ ለመምረጥ ተዘጋጅቼ ቀኑን በጉጉት እየጠበኩ እገኛለሁ ነው ያለው።

በምርጫ ሲሳተፍ የመጀመርያው በመሆኑ መደሰቱን የገለፀው ወጣት ኑረዲን ውሂብ ለሀገር ልማት ይበጃል የሚለውን የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ ለመምረጥ መዘጋጀቱን ተናግሯል።

በምርጫ ስትሳተፍ የመጀመሪያዋ መሆኑን የገለፀችው ሃናን ዮኒስ የፊታችን ሰኞ በሚካሄደው ምርጫ ድምፅ ለመስጠት መጓጓቷን ገልጻለች።

ወጣት ሳላህ እስክንድር በበኩሉ በወሰድኩት ካርድ ዴሞክራሲያዊ መብቴን በመጠቀም ይጠቅመኛል የምለውን ፓርቲ ለመምረጥ ተዘጋጅቻለሁ ብሏል።

በምርጫው ቀን በምርጫ ጣብያ በመገኘት ድምጹን ለመስጠት ዝግጁ መሆኑንም ገልጿል።

Ahead of Ethiopia’s June 1 general election, AU Election Observation Mission head Uhuru Kenyatta emphasized that the vote carries significance far beyond Ethiopia’s borders.

As the host of the African Union headquarters, Ethiopia plays a unique role in Africa’s political landscape. With more than 54 million registered voters, the election is among the largest democratic exercises on the continent.

Kenyatta said the AU’s election observation efforts are aimed at strengthening democracy through African-led solutions, shared learning, and the exchange of best practices among member states.

“Our situations are unique. We do not have to copy and paste from other parts of the world. We can create and replicate best practices across Africa as part of African solutions to African problems,” he said.

The AU mission, composed of observers from 37 African countries, will monitor the electoral process and contribute to efforts to deepen democratic governance across the continent.

አዲስ አበባ፤ ግንቦት 21/2018(ኢዜአ)፦ 7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ፍፁም ሰላማዊ እና ስኬታማ በሆነ መልኩ እንዲጠናቀቅ፣ ከሌሎች የፀጥታ አካላት ጋር በከፍተኛ ቅንጅት እና ቁርጠኝነት እየተሠራ መሆኑን የኦሮሚያ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን ገለጸ።

ኮሚሽኑ በክልሉ እያከናወነ ያለውን መጠነ-ሰፊ የሰላም ማስከበር ሥራ አስመልክቶ የኦሮሚያ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽነር ጄኔራል ድሪባ መኮንን በሰጡት መግለጫ፣ የምርጫው የቅድመ-ዝግጅት ምዕራፍ ከተጀመረበት ጊዜ አንሥቶ ከክልሉ እና ከፌዴራል የፀጥታ መዋቅሮች የተወጣጣ የጋራ ግብረ-ኃይል ተቋቁሞ ቀጣይነት ያለው ሥራ በትኩረት ሲያከናውን መቆየቱን ገልጸዋል።

ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ፣ ጠቅላላ ምርጫውን ለማደናቀፍ እና በሕዝብ ላይ ሁከት ለመፍጠር የተንቀሳቀሱ ፀረ-ሰላም ኃይሎችን የመለየት እና ተገቢውን ሕጋዊ እርምጃ የመውሰድ ሥራ መከናወኑን ጠቅሰዋል።

ከዚህ ባሻገር በተከናወነው የተቀናጀ እና በተደራጀ የፀጥታ ማስከበር ሥራ፣ ለምርጫው ሂደት ስኬታማነት እጅግ ወሳኝ የሆኑት የምርጫ ቁሳቁሶች ያለምንም የፀጥታ እንቅፋት እና መስተጓጎል በተፈለገው ቦታ እና ጊዜ በሰላም መሰራጨታቸውን ተናግረዋል።

የምርጫው ሂደት ፍፁም ሰላማዊ፣ ነጻ እና ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሆኖ እንዲጠናቀቅ በሁሉም የክልሉ አካባቢዎች የተጀመረው የፀጥታ ጥበቃ እና የክትትል ሥራ ምርጫው ተጠናቅቆ ውጤት እስኪገለጽ ድረስ ይበልጥ ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል ተመላክቷል።

በመሆኑም የክልሉ ነዋሪዎች እና መራጮች በፍፁም ራስ መተማመን በምርጫው ዕለት በነቂስ ወጥተው ድምፃቸውን እንዲሰጡ ኮሚሽኑ ጥሪውን አቅርቧል።

በየአካባቢው በልዩ ሁኔታ የተደራጀው የጋራ የፀጥታ ግብረ-ኃይልም አጠቃላይ የምርጫው ሂደት እስኪጠናቀቅ ድረስ የሰላም እና የሕግ የበላይነትን የማስከበር ኃላፊነቱን በትጋት እንደሚወጣ መግለጻቸውን የዘገበው ኢቢሲ ነው።
