Gorgeous L loved her Hollywood waves so much from her welcome party, she decided against her romantic low bun - which we had trialled the night beforehand and then changed to Hollywood waves, and wanted them again for her ceremony! Another heatwave weekend in France, requiring a timeless long-lasting look!💋🇫🇷

Natural Make-up..

I often get asked for make-up which will look natural in photographs..but will last long into the night..there’s a fine line between not enough and too much..but it’s also about how you set it..and anticipating how it will look after a few hours!
K chose this look which I made sure I set well and looks quite matte here, but you will see if you look at her later photos that a natural glow comes through to a perfect level.. This wedding was on the weekend of the first major heatwave to hit France this year, it was 40 degrees and the heat had affected her quite badly and was also quite tricky to work in - but I think we nailed it!

That dress!!

T waited until the last minute to decide what style to go for..we hadn’t trialled it, but I had done her hair the evening beforehand in a slightly tamer modern French pleat for her welcome party…so I was over the moon when she said she wanted a huge ´Pammy’ as her dress with lace choker really needed a crowning glory - something glamorous and fun - just like her! We positioned the veil under the main hairdo to hopefully limit damage on removal later! (I do offer a service to stay with you for this part..!)

Such a fun group of ladies, great friends and family - I’m still coining mummy’s naughty phrase 🙊iykyk!

These two…

Such a romantic tale, but not mine to tell..just know that these two worlds collided slowly on The Isle of Man …and I was lucky enough to be involved in their beautiful union!

K & T tied the knot just last week in Brittany in front of their inner circle of friends and family from various countries - a special mention for the most impressively mature and beautiful teenage German bridesmaids!✌️

I love it when people express themselves and push their boundaries making the most of their wonderful french surroundings - and these two definitely did that!!

K was unable to have a Hair & Make-up trial, but we kept in touch over the two years prior to the wedding date, exchanging ideas, video calls and pictures and then waited to see what she would go for on the day, with all her options in mind! She usually wears her hair high but chose to go lower to compliment the cut of the dress and add more romance - with a natural glowy make-up look without being too shiny..what looks good to the eye doesn’t always work on camera, trust me!! 🤗

A moment for the mother of the bride..
.mums often have an important role on their daughters wedding day, they keep things running, quietly overseeing, making sure things run smoothly and often putting themselves last..

I always enjoy introducing them to new looks and products, making them feel beautiful and giving them the huge respect they so deserve!

This beautiful mother was captured doing her final job before her daughter was married to her beau!

She wanted an elegant up-do to work in with her incredible outfit - her red hair was set off beautifully against the black and white in a modern French pleat. We chose soft golds and peaches for her make-up and I custom blended her lip colour.

The perfect ‘dip kiss’!

These two perfectly executed this photo-friendly dance move and got the perfect shot during their first dance👌

Choosing hairstyles and accessories which will withstand veil removal, and ‘bridal stunt moves’ (as I like to call them😉) when all eyes are on you is a worthy consideration!

It was a very hot and windy day in Provence but K’s hair and make-up went the distance!

So delighted to announce…

…after a wonderful tour yesterday, I’ve been invited as a recommended supplier for luxury hair and make-up by a new V.I.P. venue in the South of France!

Domaine Saint Jean de Roca is opening for vip events from this coming September, and is already taking bookings for luxury events and weddings well into next year!

It’s a really gorgeous and well thought out luxury venue, very near an airport (although has its own helipad 🚁) and although set within rolling vineyards, is a stone’s throw from the coast, restaurants and markets should you wish to venture beyond its calm.

There are Moroccan accents throughout its stylish modern yet sympathetically restored French interior/exterior and all the rooms are named after spices!

I can’t wait for the season to begin and to be part of your beautiful future! 🙏💋🇫🇷
