I’ve been thinking that courage is like building a muscle – you can’t strengthen it without exposing it to resistance. The secret isn’t to stop being scared or afraid – it’s to feel it, allow it, and accept it.
When you move toward your fear instead of away from it, you release the suffering that comes from resistance. Be afraid for a second. Let it sink in. Breathe it in, and breathe it out !!

The fear might still be there, but you’re no longer fighting it.

You are enough! You have enough! I love the empowerment of a statement like that.. remember your words in action have tremendous power!!

Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of my beloved Justin, but today and everyday I celebrate who you represent and who you have become my remarkable Son.
I’m so grateful and humbled to be your mom…thank you for teaching me the meaning of life, please remember that because of you I don’t have to wonder who I am.
From the moment I saw you I knew “the king” was born.. you have created your own kingdom, and you do everything your way…you are original, creative, faithful, persistent and you are a visionary…I bow to your greatness, I bow to your visions and drive, to your commitment, to your beliefs, I bow to your kindness and values …I’m so proud of you for always remaining true to yourself.
Thank you for being my son, for sometimes being my friend and teacher, but for always being one of my main squeezes!!

Everything happening in my life is happening for me, not to me. I’m grateful for every little experience I’ve been presented me with, whether it was initially perceived as positive or negative. I’ve realized that negative experiences are milestones for me to express my most authentic and highest self. They are meant for me to learn about who I am so I can be the one I desire to be.
I GIVE THANKS FOR ALL THAT I HAVE, ALL THAT I AM, AND ALL THAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER.

The practice for today was to give grace to myself for everything, to understand my needs, and to accept that everything is aligned perfectly!!!

When you realize everything is temporary.. when you notice that nothing is permanent and remember…”this too shall pass” …think of your thoughts flowing on a river .. coming and going.. let your emotions and feelings flow.. You are not your thoughts .. you are not your emotions!!! You got this!!
