The process vs the Result!
Entre textures, symboles et héritages, ce projet est né d’une envie de faire dialoguer plusieurs Afriques. Beautiful idea .dms
Des identités différentes, mais profondément liées par la mémoire, l’art, les gestes et la transmission.
Dans cette vidéo, on voit d’abord le processus. Les mains qui créent. Les ongles qui prennent forme. Puis le résultat final : l’image.
Mais avant la photo, il y a toujours une intention.
Mon rôle a été de traduire cette vision à travers les détails, à travers les textures, les formes, les matières.
On a échangé, testé, déconstruit puis reconstruit ensemble pour créer des ongles qui ne soient pas seulement beaux, mais qui racontent quelque chose.
J’aime ces projets où le nail art devient plus qu’un accessoire : une extension de la direction artistique, un langage à part entière.

From a simple DM/email to a full photoshoot production… this is what my nail creation process really looks like 💅🏾✨
Every project starts with a conversation. We talk about the vision, the purpose of the shoot, the aesthetic, the deadlines, and the energy behind the brand. Whether it’s for an editorial, a campaign, or brand photoshoot , clarity is everything.
Then comes the creative direction. Sometimes the client sends a moodboard with the exact design they want. Sometimes I’m given full creative freedom. Either way, I translate the concept into textures, shapes, finishes, and details that will elevate the final images. Nails are never just an accessory .. they are part of the visual storytelling.
Once the designs are created, I send previews for validation. Adjustments are made if needed. Precision matters. The goal is perfection on camera.
On shoot day, if I’m available, I’m there. I fit the nails on the model, make sure everything looks flawless under lighting, and handle on-site touch-ups. Behind every polished photo is preparation, intention, and expertise.
This is more than nails.
This is art direction.
This is collaboration.
This is vision brought to life. ✨
