this is what i’ve been sitting with these past few days and it’s been a bit heavy, but very insightful. God has shown me all the ways i am still prolonging the new life i’ve been manifesting and He’s been calling me to. all the vices, all the habits and behaviors that no longer serve me and all the old patterns and cycles i was once comfortable in have made my life completely uncomfortable now. they bring me confusion more than they do confidence and heighten my anxiety and fears more than they allow me moments of peace. if you’re like me you probably make excuses as to why it’s okay to still have these things around and still partake in your vices. after all it’s not all the time and it isn’t at the same capacity as it once was so you’re making progress, right? sure, that’s one way to look at it.
