We took last weekend off from events to catch our breath and get organised — and it’s made all the difference! It’s been a busy week, but I’m feeling much more on top of things now. The new stock has arrived and is loaded into the van, the accounts are up to date, and I’ve finally caught up with my emails. My inbox had been a little neglected lately! 😅

We’re now booked up with events right through to Christmas, although I’ve kept one weekend free because I think we’ll need it! 😂

This weekend is a busy one. We don’t usually take on events both days, but our confirmation for Weston Independent Market, supporting the Weston Super Half Marathon, only came through last week — after we’d already agreed to be at Lawrence Weston Community Markets on Saturday. We always honour our commitments, so we’ll be making it work and bringing all the Bobbies sparkle!

Fireworks & Bonfire Night 2026 - Aston Down Airfield Pyrotechnic air display performance, family activities, bonfire, fireworks display. Saturday 24th October 2026. Come along for the afternoon and enjoy the displays, stalls and family activities.

After an amazing day at the Wiltshire Chilli Festival last weekend our glitter stock is looking very sorry for itself! You lot kept us sparkling all day, so a big restock was definitely needed. ✨

I’ve been doing lots of research this past week to find a new glitter brand for the stall, and came across Luminosity Glitter. I love their bold colours and beautiful blends, and was really pleased to find their plant-based biodegradable glitter fits with the eco-friendly glitter we already use for our festival faces.

I’m so excited to start stocking them! Our order’s been placed, and I’m keeping everything crossed it arrives in time for a double event weekend!
