Wine is culture.
In France, it’s 2,000 years of winemaking and human history in every glass! ✨
A throwback to the 2026 Saint-Vincent celebrations in Reims and Hautvillers, Champagne — a centuries-old tradition honoring Saint Vincent — protector of the vines, winegrowers and the harvest.
🍷 Why Saint Vincent’s Day matters in France
It is a powerful symbol of French winemaking identity, community, conviviality, solidarity, and gratitude for the land and the vignerons who work and tend to their terroir with devotion and pride.
It traditionally marks the symbolic start of the wine-growing year and reflects the deep bond between culture, faith, and terroir.
Each January, confréries (local wine fraternal organizations), processions, masses, and Champagne tastings bring communities together to celebrate with joy & pride their labor of love and love of labor!
🍾 Saint-Vincent in Champagne
Led by the Archiconfrérie Saint-Vincent des Vignerons de la Champagne (since the 1930s), this annual celebration unites villages and Champagne houses across the region.
📍 Grand Celebration
Each January, a major Champagne town hosts the festivities.
2026: Reims, January 17.
· ⛪︎Traditions include
Solemn masses - usually in a cathedral or parish church, to give thanks for the past harvest and invoke protection for the upcoming year’s vineyard work,
· Folkloric processions, confrérie (wine fraternal organizations), banners, traditional costumes, and the blessing of wine — followed by shared meals, brioche, and Champagne tastings.
🥂 Local village celebrations
Across Champagne, villages honor Saint Vincent in their own way — including Hautvillers, celebrated here by Champagne Marion-Bosser at their boutique and local Chef-driven bistro, Clotaire.
Conviviality, love of terroir, and heritage — alive even in the heart of winter ❄️✨🍇🥂🇫🇷🍷✨🍾❄️

Madame Minette has taken her leave at the age of 20
She entered our lives by pure serendipity. We rescued her when she was over one year old. For 19 years, she was our life companion with a tremenduous life force!
Dignified, elegant, loyal, honest, valiant and determined to live by her terms until the last moment.
A presence, a curiosity, a stubborn character who always stayed the course
Some of you have met her, she was part of our Aline Wines family.
Always of incredible support and attention whether it be for a photo shoot, long office evenings, tastings, dinners, receptions and wine sample receptions!
She was a socialite! She LOVED meeting people, parties, especially dinner parties.
Nobody could put Minette in a corner! She always made sure she had a seat at the table - period!
We are heartbroken, in bereavement as we face a huge hole in the fabric and textures of our daily lives and rituals.
Now leaning on and treasuring all the memories.
Finding comfort and courage in knowing she was never defeated, knew her worth, stayed true to her truth and freedom of spirit through the end.
RIP beautiful Minette with all our gratitude and love ❤️

Today we celebrate Mother’s day🌷 by honoring and raising a glass to this incredible mother-daughter team : Bernadette & Elodie! 💕Compassionate and passionate, attentive and intelligent, talented and spunky 🥰🙏💥
Grateful for all you embody, for having you in our lives and your high craft champages at our tables;)! 🥂 🍾
Following in the footsteps of the four generations of women who preceded her in their native village of Hautvillers (Vallée de la Marne), Elodie farms with strong organic practices three hectares of her own old-vine premier cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards there. In addition, she sources Chardonnay from grand-cru vineyards in Oger, Vertus and Ambonnay. Having trained in Burgundy under Henri Boillot and Patrick Piuze has taught her how to make great wines with a meticulous attention to detail. Focusing on freshness and elegance, her wines exhibit a fine complexity, lively mousse, regal structure, and persistent palate…much like their maker.
