Healthy Living Tips for today:
We all know that there is no way of completely escaping screen time in today's world. While digital innovation has largely improved our lives, there are serious outcomes associated with excessive screen time as per below:
Obesity
Eye strain
Sleep problems
Chronic neck and back pain
Depression & Anxiety
Insulin Resistance
Increased risk of Cardiovascular Diseases
Experts recommend that adults should limit screen time outside of work to less than two hours per day.
Here are some tips:
1. Watch out how much time you are spending on your phone/TABLETS
2. Avoid taking phone before sleeping.
3. Take part in activities that involve the entire family.
4. Create screen-free zones. (Screen-free bedroom)
5. Uninstall the apps (for an hour or two every day) that you use the most.
6. Indulge in outdoor activities or sports
