Here in Africa, there’s still a strong belief that professions like nail tech work are a last resort, something you do when there are no other options. That narrative is outdated.
I didn’t choose this profession because I lacked opportunities. I chose it intentionally, with education, vision, and a clear understanding of what I’m building. Yes, I’m a nail tech. Yes, I hold a master’s degree. Both can exist in the same hands.
Intelligence and creativity are not opposites. Skill-based businesses are real businesses.
