[06/19/19]   Well that’s the dust settled after Saturday’s fantastic charity swim fest In aid of Canine Partners on behalf of Zoe McLean and her partner dog Remus who are raising funds to purchase a canine partner puppy ( Zoe and Remus took part in the kilt walk earlier this month !)
We have still had people donating who couldn’t manage to attend , which is wonderful thank you all so very much !
So drum roll please ........ on the day we raised a grand total of ....... £601 !!!!! However due to further donations we are now at nearly £700 ( grand actual total to follow !)
I would also like to extend my personal thanks to all who attended and have donated .
Also the day could not have gone ahead without my fabulous support team , special thanks to our own Janice Struthers ( for giving up your “Smithy “Saturday to be with us instead ) Janice Mclaren ( giving up your agility day and doing our teas and coffees) Hayley Wright ( chief dog washer and dryer) Luke McBlain McBlain ( our vet student who I only met last week and who jumped at the chance to help and spent all day in his wet suit ) Olga Simlo ( a former student soon to be qualified who travelled across from Edinburgh to help -second dog washer and dryer) Benjamin Rowe Front Rowe Entertainment ( who provided music 🎶 all day - until he had to leave for work and was there before me to help set up ! Lol ) Jamie Agnew photography who was in attendance throughout and provided a first class service - Jamie is also donating a percentage of any monies raised from
Photos sold to the cause !!!!!! Fiona’s Forage Fun - who changed her work plans to spend the day with us and brought her two lovely very well behaved retired greyhounds as well as her fab snuffle stall ! Fiona hand makes all her ware and supports GAL ( greyhound allegiance league) and lastly Steve Wright who shouldn’t have even been there due to an accident he’d had the day before - he should have been a strict rest ! But was insistent he was helping all day !
Everyone who attended helped just by turning up , this is how as humans we achieve great things by ALL coming together and making the effort to help others .
A MASSIVE HEART FELT THANKS TO YOU ALL 🐾❤️🐾

Lovely Collie Bitch looking for her forever home. Jess is roughly 4 years old. She can be wary of other dogs but is improving each day with more exposure. Jess was raised on a farm and she has had very limited experience of the outside world. She is very good with people, however would not recommend a home with small children or other pets (not that we have previous knowledge of this being an issue, however we also haven't been able to test her with this). Lovely nature and very well behaved in the house. Experience with border collies would certainly be advantageous as she is very clever. She is starting to play with toys and she does not resource guard. She is affectionate and does not suffer from separation anxiety. She is crate trained and happily sleeps in a crate overnight. Basic training has been started since she came into foster care. Travels well in car. Up to date with vaccinations and has been microchipped. Please contact Ace Physiotherapy on 01292 282293, 07944 642823 or by page.

[03/28/18]   The canipilates and equipilates classes starting next week are filling up fast. Anyone interested in these specially designed courses for dog handlers and horse riders should contact JMM Piilates and equipilates biomechanics trainer direct. These courses are for the handlers/riders and do not include exercises for the animals themselves.

Ernie has called in sick today. Got a bit of a hangover lol #elfontheshelf

Ernie the naughty Elf had a very busy weekend. He went ice skating, drank mulled wine, got arrested for underage drinking, fell over, got eaten by a carnival zebra and then went drinking strawberry daquari's, Oh dear Ernie think you need a day in bed. #elfontheshelf
