Use It Or Lose It

From your early 30s onwards there is a slow, unnoticed erosion going on where our body changes. Approximately 1/2 a pound of muscle is lost per year and we gain approximately 1/2 a pound of fat in a year.

The solution is exercise, which helps maintain muscle mass and limits body fat.
Activities could include; walking, jogging, yoga, cycling, gardening and housework.

Just to let you know that we won’t be available from the 10th to the 25th June. Last appointments will be on the 9th. Hope you have all been enjoying the weather!

It’s great to see the sunshine after the long winter. It might be time to get out in the garden. This is an excellent form of exercise for improving strength, mobility and flexibility, however like any exercise it can cause aches and pains if overdone. Taking a 5 or 10 minute break before, during and afterwards is important and remember to stay hydrated with non alcoholic drinks.

We hope everyone is having a great Easter Sunday!

We understand that the weather means that people might not be able to make their appointments. Please try to let us know and don’t worry, there is no fee for cancellations. We will make sure that appointments will be rescheduled once the weather has improved.

We hope you all remain safe.
