Skin lesion removal doesn’t always mean scalpels, stitches or lengthy recovery.
This client chose cryotherapy as a minimally invasive option.
One treatment. No cutting. No stitches.
Healing naturally.
*Individual suitability assessed during consultation.

When it comes to skincare, I believe recommendations should be earned, not sold.
As a nurse, my role isn’t to tell you what everyone else is using. It’s to understand your skin, your concerns, your lifestyle and your goals, then help you make informed decisions that work for you.
That means considering what you’ll realistically use, what fits your budget, and what has a clear purpose within your routine.
Because good skincare isn’t about owning more products.
It’s about understanding your skin and using the right products consistently.

As a nurse and skin professional, I spend a lot of time educating others on how to care for their skin.
But I’m also a mum, a business owner and a human being.
I know the importance of sleep, hydration, stress management and consistency.
That doesn’t mean I always get it right.
Sometimes the biggest barrier to healthy skin isn’t a lack of knowledge. It’s real life.
Professional knowledge. Real life habits.

DERMAPLANING MYTHS: EXPLAINED
Myth: Dermaplaning makes your hair grow back thicker and darker.
Truth: Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin. It doesn’t affect the hair follicle, so the hair grows back the same colour and texture as before.
Myth: Dermaplaning causes breakouts.
Truth: When performed correctly, dermaplaning removes dead skin cells and surface build-up that can contribute to congestion. Many clients notice their skin feels smoother and looks brighter afterwards.
Myth: Dermaplaning is just shaving your face.
Truth: Professional dermaplaning is a precise exfoliation treatment carried out using a sterile surgical blade. Alongside removing peach fuzz, it also removes dead skin cells to reveal brighter, smoother skin.
Myth: Dermaplaning is painful.
Truth: Most clients find it incredibly relaxing. The treatment is gentle, comfortable and requires no downtime.
Myth: Dermaplaning is only for removing peach fuzz.
Truth: While the removal of peach fuzz is a bonus, the real benefits include smoother skin, improved product absorption, a brighter complexion and a flawless canvas for makeup application.
Because informed decisions create better skin outcomes.

Most people don’t realise that my cryotherapy journey started long before Reset.
It began when I was working as a sexual health nurse, where I first trained in cryotherapy and regularly treated viral warts in clinic.
Back then, I never imagined I’d one day be running my own nurse-led skin clinic. But the foundations of what I do now were already being built.
Today, I use cryotherapy to safely treat a range of benign skin lesions, including skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses and milia, helping clients feel more confident in their skin.
Although the treatments I offer today are different, the principles remain the same: safe practice, clinical assessment and patient-centred care.
Looking back at that younger version of me, I’m not sure she would quite believe where this journey would lead.

Microneedling is a treatment that rewards patience.
The skin needs time to repair, regenerate and build new collagen between sessions, which is why treatments are typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
More frequent treatments don’t necessarily mean better results. Giving the skin adequate time to complete its natural healing cycle is an important part of achieving the outcome you’re looking for.
When performed as a structured course of treatments, microneedling can help improve skin texture, firmness, pore appearance and overall skin quality over time.
Healthy skin is built gradually.

A reminder that skincare isn’t always found in a serum, treatment or routine.
Sometimes it’s an early night.
A walk outdoors.
A moment of stillness.
A balanced meal.
A day of rest.
Healthy skin is built through the habits we practice consistently, not perfectly.

8 weeks until “I do”.
With just 8 weeks until her wedding day, we’re focusing on healthy, radiant skin that will look beautiful both in person and in photographs.
At Saturday’s skin clinic, we carried out a dermaplaning treatment to create a smoother, brighter complexion and the perfect canvas for wedding day makeup, helping it to sit more evenly and flawlessly on the skin.
Her skin is already in beautiful condition, so our focus over the coming weeks is on maintaining hydration, enhancing radiance and refining the complexion so she feels her absolute best on the big day.
The countdown is on. 🤍
