A reminder that when you book an appointment, you’re booking time that cannot be given to anyone else.

Being a no-show is frustrating enough, but asking to be squeezed in after missing an appointment, me accommodating that request, and then not turning up again — only to block me afterwards — is completely unacceptable.

As a small business owner, every appointment matters. This is my livelihood, and like many people, I have a family to support and commitments to work around, including a newborn baby. Time wasted on missed appointments is time I could have offered to genuine clients or time spent with my family.

I completely understand that emergencies happen, and communication is always appreciated. However, repeated no-shows with no contact show a lack of respect for my time and business.
