Teacher Led Tutoring

Happy to announce that our Art Course kicks off this August! Our topic will be NATURAL FORMS and will be spread over 4 Morning Sessions based in Frome, Somerset.

This course is brilliant preparation for GCSE and A Level or BTEC Art, the work we do can even contribute to your grade.

The course will cover: mark making, observational drawing and watercolours, artist research, and will finish with acrylic painting. Our course leader is a qualified teacher with a degree in Art and Education.

A beautiful card and flowers and a very sad goodbye to one of my full-time students. They finish their GCSE exams on Wednesday and have been accepted to start at college in September!! You’ll be very missed! Congratulations to everyone who has finished their exam season this week 💚

It’s a big week for all our GCSE students who are starting their exams! Wishing you all the best luck, hard work will pay off and trust in the process 🫶 Learning how to push through exam season is an incredible skill, and not an easy one!

So happy to hear from parents last week that our students have been accepted into Kingswood school, Bath and received excellent feedback, especially in Maths and NVR. Congratulations to my lovely students, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching them achieve their goals 🫶

As a lot of you already know, Maple has joined the team ☺️ I am so excited for her to complete training as a therapy dog and she has already created a lovely bond with some of the children coming in for lessons!

We are looking forward to offer therapy supported lessons, walks and introductory back to learning sessions for children who have been outside of education. 💚

Possible indicators of neurodivergence:

- Learning faster or slower that their peers.
- Finding it hard to cope with bright lights, loud noises or busy social situations.
- Difficulties focusing on tasks.
- Better than average problem solving skills.
- Differences when socialising or relating to their peers.
- Stimming movements (hand flapping, rocking, jumping, hair twirling etc).
