I started this brand because I could not find what I needed. Something I could make look like me, feel like me, and not cost the same as a small car. So I made Betsy and then I put her on my head every single day, because why would you trust someone who doesn’t ?
Hair loss does not get talked about enough. But what goes unnoticed is the way it makes women smaller, more afraid, less confident, more quiet. That was me before Betsy. Defined by my loss, not by all the things that made me strong.
The moment I found something that actually worked, I came back. It was not just how I looked. It was how I felt. How I walked into a room. How much headspace I got back when I stopped worrying about it.
That is what Beautiful Betsy is about. It’s not vanity it’s problem solving.

Why do people keep defending billionaires…… they are ruining our country 🤬 BBx

If your hair topper mats the first time you wash it, it is cheap crap. I don’t care what you paid for it or where you bought it. Cheap. Crap.

It means the hair is not cuticle correct. The fibres are fighting each other and they will never stop. No product, no technique, no amount of wishful thinking is going to save it.

I keep meeting women who have spent over £1200 on a topper, washed it once, and ended up with a matted mess. One lovely woman that I met recently at a consultation told me she has to plan when she washes the topper she paid a lot of money for because it takes hours to detangle it. That should not be happening, your topper should look and feel incredible after washing and conditioning.
And this is what really drives me mad. These amazing women thought that paying top price meant they were getting the best of the best. It doesn’t. A high price tag does not mean high quality hair. It’s a marketing trick and it means someone somewhere has a very healthy profit margin.
I have been selling real human hair toppers for nearly eleven years. I know what hair costs. I know what a fair price looks like. And I know when someone has been completely taken advantage of.
If this has happened to you…. go back to your retailer and ask them to take a look. Sometimes it’s just one bad apple but more often than not it’s because you bought a crap hair topper for a lot of money. BBx 🩷

Packing for holiday. Only taking hand luggage so knickers have been deprioritised, Betsy comes first 😊.
Grace dried like this overnight with zero input from me and now she is absolutely coming on holiday whether she likes it or not. She has had many reincarnations over the years and I am loving her as a choppy, funky bright blonde.

Agnes is already a given but I may have to snaffle a Rooted Duo Blonde if I take my own hair a little lighter. Then, maybe I take my Lovely Lois too? We are basically at three toppers, two bikinis and a passport at this point 🤣
