Good aesthetic medicine isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s right.
This carousel isn’t about criticising other clinics or following the latest trends.
It’s about explaining how we make decisions.
Every recommendation we make is based on the same principles that guide good medical practice:
✔ Is this the right treatment?
✔ Is it appropriate for this individual?
✔ Is there good clinical evidence to support it?
✔ Will it genuinely benefit the patient?
These are the same principles Dr Gower has applied throughout his career as an NHS Consultant Anaesthetist. Every patient is assessed individually, treatment is recommended because it’s appropriate—not simply because it can be done.
We believe aesthetic medicine should be no different.
That’s why we don’t chase trends, recommend unnecessary treatments, or introduce products simply because they’re new.
Instead, we focus on evidence-based treatments, personalised care, natural-looking results, and always doing what we believe is in our patient’s best interests.
Because the best treatment isn’t always the biggest treatment.
Sometimes it’s less.
Sometimes it’s waiting.

Chemical peels can sound a little scary!!… but the reality is often very different.
One of the questions we’re asked most is:
“Will my face peel loads afterwards?”
The honest answer is… usually very little or not at all!. If you do experience any peeling, it’s typically very mild—more like a little dry skin or light flaking than the dramatic peeling many people imagine.
We wanted to show you exactly what happens during a professional peel from start to finish.
Every treatment begins with a thorough cleanse and skin preparation before your bespoke peel is carefully selected and applied. During the treatment, most patients simply relax while the peel works. You may notice a little warmth or tingling—that’s completely normal—but it shouldn’t be painful.
Afterwards, your skin is supported with carefully chosen medical-grade skincare to help optimise your results and protect your skin barrier.
Over the next few days, many people simply notice their skin feels a little tighter or drier than usual. Some may experience a little light flaking, while others don’t visibly peel at all.
The aim of a professional peel is to improve skin health and encourage controlled skin renewal—not to leave you with dramatic peeling.
