Mr G: Is your own still valid because it seems the initial one expired a few months ago.

Amaka: I booked and renewed mine last month.

Mr G: Sharrpp!, I no say you no dey disappoint, you too like book😃

Amaka: 🤣🤣, Abeg Wetin dey sup, anything for your girl

Mr G: Yes, you remember that my guy from that.…….company, they needs urgent help from a trained/experienced.……Nurse, I dey run another package so I can't go, you fit go help them set it and start it up for their new patient, They no get single trained nurse but they have arranged for emergency training for their nurses

Amaka: No wahala naa, how many hours of service?

Mr G: 4hrs, at £…./hr👀

Amaka: Ahh…. 😳send post code asap!

Mr G: 🤣🤣🤣, this is my Nija babe

Amaka: No worry, I go buy fruit for your wife

Mr G: Nooo, Abeg hold your money, she travel seff, no worry na my person you be naa, just go and do clean job for us ok👍

Amaka: 😊😊, and it covered more than my monthly bills

Day 2 of our London trip (Stamford Bridge🇬🇧)

Hubby and I weren't football fans; however, I've always loved Chelsea FC😎. Stamford Bridge was about a 6-minute drive from our apartment, although it wasn't on the list of places we should visit. However, we utilised the opportunity to explore the city more😃.

Stamford Bridge predates Chelsea FC. The stadium opened in 1877, nearly 30 years before Chelsea was founded in 1905. It was originally used by the London Athletic Club for track and field sports.

In a wild twist, Chelsea FC was created solely to play at Stamford Bridge!
The owners tried to lease it to Fulham FC, but when that failed, they just started their team — and Chelsea was born.

In the 1935 match vs. Arsenal, a record 82,905 fans packed the stadium — but estimates say 100,000+ were there. That’s more than modern capacity (just over 40,000) and shows how wild English football crowds used to be.

The pitch at Stamford Bridge is not owned by Chelsea FC directly. It’s owned by a group called the Chelsea Pitch Owners (CPO) — a fan-run non-profit formed in the 1990s to protect the club’s heritage.
They own the name “Chelsea FC” and the lease on the pitch — meaning the club can’t move or rename without CPO approval.
