First day back in a salon in 18 months...safe to say things are a little bit different!!!

Hey everyone...so great news, Salons have been given the green light wahoo! Unfortunately won't be working as a mobile hairdresser as that's not aloud still....BUT I do have a job in a local salon, working Tuesdays, Thursdays and will start Saturdays in a few weeks hopefully.

Great transformation for Ruthie, Backcomb balayage and baby lights in foils and balayaged all the hair left out, toned and shadow root. It was a long day but well worth the result! 😊

So I've had my last ever day at my little salon in the students union. It's been my second home for the last 12 years and I loved every day if it. I've met a lot of amazing and interesting people along the way, some come ago as they move on and some become real friends. I'm gonna miss all of you.
I want to thank you all for the great conversations, the tears and the laughs and your continued support.
I'll miss my little 1st floor family most, Cathy's laugh for sure! 🤣
Most mornings would start with buying my milk and some chicken crisps from Roy, then give Sam a little wave on the way up, maybe have little chat, say good morning to Granville or Linda if she's in (the temp 😆) then pop in to see Cathy for a quick catch up then open up the salon and start the day.
I'm gonna miss that a lot. 😥
