Team Leader- Supported Living services

Leading a team of support workers providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Supported living home with up-to 3 adults who require support. Previous experience in a similar role, must be flexible and adaptable to the clients needs. Experience in LD, Autism and challenging behaviour.

Duties include-
Updating support plans and risk assessments
Liaising with professionals
Auditing paper work
Supporting new staff and inducting them into their role
Supervisions and observations
On-call as part of the group (approx. 3-4 a month)

Shifts 7-7pm with set days- wed, thu, fri, sat.

Driver with own car, and able to drive a motability car also.

£9.15-£9.50 ph plus additional when on call

We are seeking a caring and compassionate person, who is passionate about delivering high quality support to young- older adults with learning disabilities and Autism.
Provide support with personal care, medication, accessing the community, support with engaging in activities, promote independence and strive to build their life skills. Supporting individuals with every day living and ensuring they receive a personal cantered approach to all aspects of their support.

Suitable candidates ideally need to be outgoing and able to go on walks, theme parks and swimming to name a few activities, shifts are set and permanent contract is provided.
Shifts are 7-7pm 7-3 or 12-9/10pm depending on day and activities.

Nvq level 3 or equivalent. (Nvq 2 or less can apply- must be prepared to obtain level 3 within 2yrs)
2 references and enhanced DBS will be required.
Car driver with use of own car.

Band of pay from probationary £8.75-£9.25ph.

We are seeking a Team leader to head our community care services. Enthusiastic and willing to be challenged. This vacancy is community based delivering care and support to clients from 18-100+

Managing a team of 20+ Care Staff, with the support of other team leaders, deputy manager and Reg manager.

Duties include- Devising Care Plans, Risk assessments from both review meetings and new clients. Monitoring and updating the client files ensuring all CQC KLOE's are met. Delivering high standards of care and support by ensuring the team are supported and managed to their full potential.

This is just a short list of duties but the role is one suited to a previous team leader or someone who has vast experience in the community care setting.

42 hrs a week Min with overtime when required.

Car driver with own car is Essential.
Must live locally to Halesowen/Dudley or at least 15 mins drive including traffic.

Hourly Rate £9.25 plus expenses, mileage and on-call rate

Provide care and support to adults in their own homes within the area of Halesowen.
Role includes:
* meals
* companionship
* personal care
* medication support
Driver with own car desirable but we may have an opportunity for a walker as the clients are close to one another.

You will be providing this between the hours of 6:45am and 10pm this does not mean you work all those times, usually staff work morning to lunch OR tea to evening.

Full time vacancy with a contract of 35-48hrs are provided.

Hourly paid with travel and mileage paid.
Full training provided and support is always at hand from management and colleagues.
Uniform provided and all PPE.

Team Leader required for a supported living with 3 Adults with Learning disabilities/ Autism and some challenging behavior age between 18-25.

The ideal candidate will have had previous team leader experience and can demonstrate excellent leadership skills as well as communicate effectively within the team and service users.

Ability to update support plans, risk assessments and documentation required to support these service users. Excellent knowledge of LD, Autism and Challenging behavior. The ability to work with other professionals to improve the quality of the service users lives.

Have initiative and be diverse in your approach to their needs, and bring the best out in both the staff and service users.

There will be an on-call service 3/4 days a month - additional rate paid for this.

42-48hr contract provided working 12hrs shifts 7-7pm 3/4 days a week.

Must be a car driver and use this during your working day.
