A little story behind the name…

This business was built from my home, has grown in my home, and will always be in my home so Haus feels like the perfect name 🫶

Dixxi comes from my surname, Dickson, so even with a new name, it still feels completely me ✨

And the double XX has always been intentional, a small nod to femininity and the women this salon is created for.

Haus of Dixxi is more than a new logo. It’s the next chapter of a business built on hair, nails and confidence.

Over the coming months you’ll see the branding and the salon evolve with me, and I can’t wait to take you on that journey.

A little life update… 🖤

This week at the grand old age of 45 i started my Level 2 Hairdressing course, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited.

I’ve been doing hair extensions and nails for a while now, but it’s time to take my skills even further and grow into the hairdresser I’ve always wanted to be.

I’ll be sharing bits of my college journey, what I’m learning, and lots of behind the scenes over the next few months… and I can’t wait to bring you all along with me.

✨ LITTLE LADY LOCKS COLLECTION ✨

As the proud owner of Dixxi Dolls Hair Extensions and UK’s National Classic Ms West Lancashire 25/26, I am incredibly proud to launch my Little Lady Locks Collection.

Many of us have old hair extensions tucked away in drawers collecting dust that we no longer use. To us, they may just be unwanted hair, but to a little girl or boy struggling with confidence, hair loss, illness, or self-esteem challenges, they could mean so much more.

As a Little Lady Locks Hair Fairy, my mission is simple: to collect donated hair extensions and hair so they can be transformed into something special for young girls and boys who need a confidence boost.

This initiative combines two things that are very close to my heart:
💗 Helping others feel beautiful and confident
💗 Bringing people together to support young girls/boys in the community

If you have old hair extensions, unused hair, or know someone who does, please consider donating them instead of throwing them away.

Every donation, no matter how small, has the potential to help put a smile on a young girl/boys face and remind them just how beautiful they truly are.
