Our hearts have never felt so full. From the moment you arrived, you’ve already been the most perfect, calm and amazing little girl, and we are so unbelievably in love with you.

Your middle name, Delcelia, is so incredibly special to us—created in honour of two of the strongest women in our lives, Ashton’s mum, Adele, and my mum, Cecilia. We couldn’t think of a more meaningful name for you to carry.

Thank you so much to every single person who has sent messages, well wishes and congratulations. We are so grateful for all the love you’ve shown our little family, and we’ve loved reading every single message.

Well… that’s it! As of today I am officially on maternity leave! 🥹

With my C-section now being brought forward to this Friday, I’ve had to finish up a little sooner than expected. Thank you all so much for your understanding, patience and kindness over these last few weeks of pregnancy—it has honestly meant the world to me.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have such amazing clients. So many of you have become friends, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to support me through this journey. 🤍

My aim is to be back at the beginning of September, and I’ll be in touch with each and every one of you personally when I’m ready to start booking appointments again.

I’ll still be around on admin and socials as much as I can, so don’t disappear! Keep an eye out for lots of pictures of the newest little addition to the Polished By Pia team. 🥹💗

Welcome to my little farm studio oasis… 🤍🌿

She’s far from finished, but I couldn’t wait to share her with you all.

The vision has always been there… now it’s finally starting to come to life. ✨

There are still so many little touches to add—a pretty pebble pathway, twinkling fairy lights, in-ground lighting, a handmade Polished By Pia sign, wall art, a stocked mini fridge with cold drinks and snacks, and of course, a luxury coffee machine for my lovely clients. ☕🤍

I’m also thinking of painting the outside, but I can’t decide on a colour! If you have any cute, girly ideas, please let me know. 🎀

For now though, I’m completely in love with her just as she is. A quiet, private little space on the farm where I get to create beautiful nails, catch up with my favourite people, and do what I love every single day.

She’s only going to get prettier from here, and I can’t wait to bring you all along for the journey. 🌸✨

💗 A little update from me…

As I’ll be starting my maternity leave at the end of July, I just wanted to let everyone know a few important updates:

• 🤍 I am now closed to new regular clients for the foreseeable future.

• 🍼 When I return from maternity leave, I’ll be working very limited hours, seeing just 1-2 clients per working day.

• ✨ My existing regular clients will have priority with appointments when I return.

• 💅🏽 I will still be offering occasional one-off appointments if I have availability, but I won’t be able to commit to any new regular clients.

• 📅 I’ll contact all of my existing clients and post an update when I’m ready to return so we can arrange ongoing appointments.

Thank you all so much for your support and understanding. I know some people have worried about me returning to work so soon, but being self-employed means my income pauses while I’m on maternity leave. Nails has never just been a job to me—it’s something I genuinely love, and seeing a small number of clients will allow me to continue doing what makes me happy while still spending the vast majority of my time with my little girl.

I can’t wait to introduce you all to our little princess, and I’ll see my lovely clients again once I’m back! 🤍✨
