How do I know what shape is right for you.....?
The first step of your brow treatment is mapping, this is when I measure and mark out all the points of your brows to create your shape. I use your facial features, natural hair growth pattern and brow bone as a guide to make sure your shape is right for your face. This is what makes every set of brows unique and tailored to each individual client.
I found my flow and style with mapping when I stopped trying to create perfect symmetry and focused on balance instead.
Creating balance for me is about using your natural brow line and following your natural hair growth pattern while making minor tweaks to create more shape, lift, balance (as much symmetry as possible) and definition.
For me preserving as much natural brow hair and therefore staying as close of possible to your natural shape is super important to ensure your brows look natural and suit your face.
The skill in mapping is creating the illusion of symmetry. For most people creating perfect symmetry, while staying on the natural brow line is impossible. No human face is perfectly symmetrical and we are not working on a flat piece of paper.
Theres also things like muscles, bone structure and skin elasticity to consider.
Real artistry isn’t about forcing symmetry. it’s about understanding muscles, bone structure and natural growth patterns, then shaping brows to create balanced, lifted, defined brows that still look like you.

This is something that comes up a lot during consultations, or even before at the first point of contact. Clients are confused by the different styles of permanent makeup, and understanding what might be best for them.
This is a super simplified explanation of each style which can give you an idea of what is most suitable for you.
However, permanent makeup isn't a "one rule for all" kind of treatment, there are variables for each style and each client is advised on a case by case basis.

Story time.......
Gemma has been coming to me for the last 2 years as a HD client after initially winning a free treatment and becoming hooked on getting her brows done.
She had been toying with getting permanent makeup for some time and after loosing most of the brow hair in her tails and having to draw them on everyday due to a medical condition, she decided to bite the bullet!
Gemma likes a natural but defined look so we agreed combination brows was the way forward, crisp fluffy strokes at the front, blending into soft shading through the body and tail for the look she wanted.
Despite coming to me for some time (and trusting me!) Gemma was still nervous. We worked together every step of the way from mapping, to colour choice and even showing Gemma the progress after each pass.
Safe to say she was happy with the end result and she is now ready to ditch the brow pencil and save herself time everyday 😊

The first step of your brow treatment is "mapping" this is how we find your perfect shape.
I will measure and mark out where each point of your brows should be according to your face.
I use your natural hair growth pattern, brow bone and facial features to map each point, giving you a shape that is truly unique and designed specifically for you.
Mapping is a collaborative effort. I will map your brows and draw the first draft of your shape. We then look at the map together and just keep tweaking it until you're 100% happy with the shape.
