My lovely friend has just moved to her new little home salon in Burnham for anyone wanting some lovely beauty treatments 🥳🥰

New opening times comes with my little boy starting school, which as my regulars know is something I’m very emotional about 🙈 so lots of fun and laughter in the salon is required these coming weeks to keep me going 😭

A big chop, a brighter blonde and a whole lot more shape 😍

We took off those tired, finer ends to create this gorgeous blunt, fuller-looking cut, then refreshed the colour with beautifully blended blonde highlights to break up the darker regrowth while keeping plenty of dimension.

I absolutely LOVE how much fuller her hair looks after the cut — sometimes taking the length up makes such a difference!

✨ BALAYAGE ✨

This is why I love a good colour correction/refresh 😍

We took this grown-out, warm blonde and transformed it into a soft, dimensional balayage — breaking up the darker regrowth, brightening through the lengths and adding those gorgeous creamy-beige blonde tones.

The aim wasn’t to create one solid blonde, but to keep depth and dimension running through the hair so it grows out softer, looks more natural and still has loads of brightness. Finished with a soft wave because… obviously 😍

✨ NEW OPENING HOURS FROM 14TH SEPTEMBER ✨

A little update from The Orchard 🌿

From 14th September, my opening hours will be changing slightly. I’ll still be offering my Wednesday late nights until 9pm, alongside more daytime availability throughout the week.

New hours:
Monday 9:00–16:30
Tuesday 9:00–14:30
Wednesday 9:00–21:00
Thursday 9:00–14:30
Friday 9:00–14:00

A little heads-up if you need appointments outside of the usual 9–5…evenings are busy and there are no Saturday appointments until December 😳🤍

Evening appointments are also some of the first to go, particularly for colour appointments, so if you know you need a late appointment over the next few months, please get it booked in sooner rather than later. I hate having to say no when my diary is already full!

As a small, one-person salon, I’m incredibly grateful that the diary is looking so busy — especially to all of you who continue to come back, recommend me and keep my little salon thriving. 🥹

🍂 WARMER, RICHER & GROWING IT OUT 🤎

Sometimes the goal isn’t a dramatic chop — it’s getting your hair into a gorgeous place while you grow it out 🙌🏼

For this lovely new client, my wonderful step mum, we wanted to move away from cooler tones and bring back some warmth, richness and shine. Think glossy coppery brunette / warm chocolate tones with loads of dimension 😍

✂️ We also reshaped the cut to keep it looking polished and intentional while beginning the grow-out — keeping that lovely soft, rounded shape without sacrificing the length she needs to get to her end goal.

And can we just appreciate that SHINE?! ✨
