Sometimes life is hard! Sometimes parenting is hard and sometimes parenting makes life hard! That’s is ok!!!
How you choose to deal with these challenges is what defines the outcome. Having a s**t day? Get outside, go for a walk and just be in the moment. Yes all the s**t is still there, but just taking a minute and clearing you mind of it all can really help your mood and help you figure it out.
DO NOT beat yourself up over things that can’t be changed. As long as your trying, your winning! Even if it doesn’t seem like it 😘

No one tells you how quickly children grow. One minute they are in nappies the next off to college. The crazy amount of feelings you suddenly feel when you realise your little girl is not the little girl you see anymore. She is turning into a well rounded young woman. Well that s**t takes you by surprise let me tell you.
So I just dropped my 15 year old off at college for a taster day. Now I am well aware she is 15, but she is my baby. So dropped her off and driving away with my 10yr old and 3mnth in the car and I start bloody crying…. What fresh hell is this? Firstly, it’s a taster day and secondly, I am not a person that cry’s. The 10yr old looks at me like I’m mental so I start explaining how it a big deal, she’s growing up and it’s a milestone. Meanwhile, thinking to myself I’m mental too😂
Moral of this essay? Treasure them whilst they are small, you will never get that time back. Sod the housework, it will be there when they are grown but the memories you make now will be with you forever.
*pic of said 15yr old pi**ed that I needed a picture to mark this occasion*😂

This little guy is probably going to feature on here a lot so figured I’d start with introducing Barney and myself. I’m a mum of three (Barney) being the youngest. It’s been awhile since I had actual little people as the others are 10 and 15. So I figured I’d share our journey with a bit of advice on anything that’s helped me out when going back to tiny people. Who knows it may help someone else out just knowing their not alone first time round or many years later and starting again🤷🏽♀️ this page will be real and honest, potential too much so but hey ho 😂.
