HAIR FALL? Before you buy another bottle, save this 30-day scalp routine. 🌺

Amina Malik shared this traditional hair-fall routine using ingredients many of us already have at home.

Boil one hibiscus flower, Âź teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, Âź teaspoon of kalonji and three cloves in one cup of water. Allow it to cool completely, strain it into a clean spray bottle and apply it directly to the scalp every day for one month.

To prepare the onion spray, boil one red onion in one cup of water for five minutes. Allow it to cool completely, strain and pour it into a clean spray bottle. Before applying it, place a comfortably warm towel over the scalp until it cools, rewarm it and repeat twice more. Then spray the onion water directly onto the scalp.

The hibiscus hair tonic can be used every day, provided your scalp tolerates it well. Continue using the onion spray three times a week, following the warm-towel treatment each time.

What immediately caught my attention was the fenugreek. It is also one of the nine botanicals I chose for Hormone Harmony, alongside amla, moringa and pomegranate. I love how traditional ingredients keep reappearing in women’s wellness, each with a story and purpose of its own.

Always patch test first and make sure the towel feels comfortably warm, never scalding.

Save this recipe because consistency is the part most people forget. And if someone you know keeps mentioning hair shedding or thinning hair, send it to her. ❤️

Would you try the hibiscus hair tonic or onion water first?

Noticing more hair in the shower, a wider parting or a thinner ponytail since entering perimenopause?

Perimenopause hair loss, thinning hair, increased shedding, dryness and changes in texture can happen as oestrogen fluctuates and the hair-growth cycle shifts. But hormones are only part of the picture. Low iron, thyroid problems, stress, illness, rapid weight loss and genetics can also affect women’s hair health.

Before reaching for another hair-growth serum, look at the foundations. Hair relies on protein for keratin, while iron, zinc, copper, selenium, vitamin C, vitamin E and healthy fats support the normal processes involved in healthier, stronger-looking hair.

Seven underrated ingredients worth adding to your routine:

Black sesame seeds for copper, iron and healthy fats.
Sunflower seeds for vitamin E and selenium.
Pumpkin seeds for zinc, magnesium, protein and healthy fats.
Moringa for beta-carotene, vitamin C, calcium and iron.
Dates for copper, potassium and protective plant compounds.
Goji berries for vitamin C, carotenoids and polyphenols.
Turmeric with black pepper for antioxidant plant compounds and improved curcumin absorption.

No single food can promise hair regrowth, but consistent nourishment can help support healthy hair and scalp function from within.

Moringa is also one of nine herbs in Hormone Harmony, my no-filler botanical formula created with women’s changing needs in mind.

Save this list for your next food shop and share it with a woman whose hair has changed during perimenopause. Which ingredient will you try first?

Persistent, sudden or patchy hair loss deserves medical assessment. If you take warfarin or regular medication, check goji berries and concentrated turmeric or black pepper supplements with a pharmacist.

Searching “what are the symptoms of perimenopause?” You may recognise far more than hot flushes.

Brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, weight gain, irregular periods, mood swings, poor sleep, night sweats, joint pain, low libido and vaginal dryness can all appear during this stage of hormonal change.

Some of the most intimate changes are also the least talked about.

Shatavari is an Ayurvedic root long valued in women’s traditional wellness and one of nine botanicals I carefully chose for Hormone Harmony.

Swipe to discover its story and why it earned its place in my formula.

Save this for your perimenopause journey and share it with a woman who may be quietly wondering what is happening to her body.

If your symptoms are new, persistent or affecting your daily life, speak to your GP.

I didn’t create EnhanceHER because the world needed another supplement.

I created it because too many women are still left trying to understand what is happening to their bodies, often without feeling fully heard.

I know how confusing and isolating that can feel.

EnhanceHER grew from my own journey, two years of research and a belief that women deserve thoughtful, compassionate support through hormonal change.

This is more than a business to me.
It’s deeply personal.

What is one thing you wish someone had told you sooner about your hormones?

WHAT GOT ME THROUGH 2 WEEKS OF WEDDING CELEBRATIONS 🎉
Henna parties. Singing. Dholki. Shopping. Hosting. Almost every single night - before my nephew’s wedding.

I love these celebrations, but going through perimenopause, I genuinely didn’t know how I’d keep up the energy.
Then I found this recipe from a herbal doctor on YouTube, and it got me through the whole thing.

3 ingredients. No fuss. Real fuel.

🥄 Greek yoghurt - protein to preserve muscle and keep you full
🌰 Dates - natural energy, no crash
🫘 Roasted chickpeas - protein, fibre and iron to fight fatigue from the inside out

Blend it for breakfast, or as your 3pm rescue when the day’s caught up with you.

And if you’re navigating perimenopause like me, this is exactly why we built Hormone Harmony. The drink fuels you. The herbs work on the hormonal root.

Save this for your next low-energy day 🤍

That’s a message I got last week. And it’s not the first time. So many women message me the same things: irregular periods that make no sense anymore, crying over nothing one minute and exhausted the next, with zero idea why.

Turns out this is perimenopause. It can start over a decade before menopause actually hits, and most of us aren’t told anything about it until we’re in the middle of it, googling symptoms at 2am.

That’s why I made Hormone Harmony. Nine herbs, including Ashwagandha, Shatavari and Black Cohosh, that have been used in Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years to support women through exactly this. Nothing synthetic, nothing filler, just herbs doing what they’ve always done.

If any of this sounds like you or someone you know, save the post. Read the symptoms again properly when you’ve got five minutes.

Lectures by day. Building my supplement brand by night. 🤗

Just graduated in Health and Social Care, while building EnhanceHER Health🌸 the whole way through.

I was living through perimenopause while studying it, so I built the support I couldn’t find. 9 herbs, rooted in Ayurveda. 🌸🎓

One day you’re fine, the next you’re waking up at 3am drenched in sweat, forgetting words mid sentence, and crying at a John Lewis advert for no reason.

Here’s what I wish someone told me sooner. Save this so you have it when you need it 🤍

✨ Prioritise protein at every meal - your muscle is disappearing faster than you think
✨ Lift weights, not just cardio - your bones and metabolism need it
✨ Protect your sleep like it’s sacred - it affects every single hormone
✨ Hydrate properly - dehydration mimics half your symptoms
✨ Manage your stress before it manages you

None of this is about being “perfect.” It’s about giving your body what it’s actually asking for during this transition.

Which one are you going to try first? Tell me below 👇
