If your using azelaic acid but not seeing results this might be why

Azelaic acid is such a great ingredient for acne-prone skin, pigmentation and inflammation, but one thing I see quite often is people using a really low-strength product that you can buy over the counter and expecting it to completely transform more persistent skin concerns

If you’re dealing with ongoing breakouts, stubborn pigmentation or post-acne marks, the concentration you’re using may simply not be enough to give you the results you’re looking for

That doesn’t mean you should automatically jump to the strongest product you can find. Your skin still needs to tolerate the product, and consistency is a huge part of getting results

But if you’ve been using azelaic acid consistently for a reasonable amount of time, your skin tolerates it well, and you’re still not seeing much improvement, it’s worth looking at the strength, formulation and how you’re using it
