As I’ve just invested in a new set of myofascial cups, thought I’d include a little update about what this is and how it can help you.

Myofascial cupping is a soft-tissue technique that uses suction to gently lift the skin and underlying fascia. Using plastic cups and a suction gun, the tissue is drawn upward, helping to separate layers that may be stuck, tight, or restricted.

This decompression effect can:
• increase local blood flow
• reduce muscle and fascial tension
• improve tissue glide and mobility
• support recovery in areas affected by overuse, stiffness, or postural strain

In short, myofascial cupping is used to help restore normal movement in the soft tissues by reducing restrictions in the fascia — the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports your muscles.

I use cupping in my sessions where I feel it will have the biggest impact. Please do ask, if you’d be interested in these being incorporated into your treatment.

Last weekend, I took some time to explore something a little different — I’ve completed an Angelic Reiki course ✨

For now, this is a very personal journey — a chance to deepen my understanding of energy, healing, and connection. It’s been both grounding and uplifting, and I’m curious to see where it leads.

As with all growth, it may one day find its way into my work as a sports massage therapist, but for now, I’m simply enjoying the process and what it’s teaching me.
