What is Confidentiality?

The principle of confidentiality is about privacy and respecting someone’s wishes. It means that professionals shouldn’t share personal details about someone with others, unless that person has said they can or it’s absolutely necessary.

Confidentiality means that the practitioner should keep a confidence between themselves and the patient, as part of good care practice. This means that the practitioner shouldn’t tell anyone what a patient has said and their details, other than those who need to know. This also includes not showing anyone – again, other than those who need to know – an individual’s personal notes or computer records.

It is important for all my clients to know that all our consultations & conversations are private. As a Registered Practitioner this aspect of care is essential.

We also have a wonderful electronic system which keeps all your forms and information safe.

We will send with your consent form digitally with a photography release form. If this is something you do not feel happy to share it is absolutely your choice.

And please voice any concerns you may have regarding this matter.

I also ensure that if you are messaged we use words that do not indicate you’ve had a Aesthetic treatment.

I want you to always feel you are in a safe space with me and I’m always here to chat. It all stays within the four walls.

Skin Boosting with injectables are a new concept, globally improving the skins hydration, delaying and reversing the ageing process and reducing ageing indicators.

Profhilo is made from Hyaluronic acid. Injecting this product into the dermis layer of the skin we see an improvement in hydration and subsequent stimulation of collagen production.

Science has shown that applying Hyaluronic acid topically (via cream) is not as effective because of the molecule size and pe*******on via injection significantly increases the effects this product has on the skin.

We see every skin care brand out there with ‘added hyaluronic acid’ at an extortionate price. Which is actually not getting to the right layers of the skin.

Profhilo and other skin boosters ensure this product is in the right place for maximum effect.

Let’s Talk About Botox.

Deciding to have or starting botox treatments are often daunting.

A trained medical professional, like myself, alongside an depth consultation is key to help start your journey of youthful skin with confidence.

Botox or Botulinum toxin is a chemical produced by Botulinum Bacterium.

This toxin has muscle relaxing properties discovered in the 80’s. This was used then to help with squints of the eye. Soon the people behind this treatment noticed that not only was it helping there patients squint, but also reducing there ageing and wrinkles in the areas treated.

Within the UK 🇬🇧 there are several names for botox products. Botox®, Azzalure & the brand i regularly use, Bocouture.

Treatments are 30 minutes long and different areas of the upper face can be treated.

The injections are almost painless but numbing cream can be applied if needed. The injection part of the treatment is done within minutes.

The effects of the botox can seem effective from 2-10 days and we also advise a review and potential top up.
