A brilliant weekend of training & camaraderie just completed at our 28th consecutive Annual Chojinkai Winter Course @ Center Parcs with around 30 members & instructors training 🥋 Headed by our Chief Instructor Doug James 9th Dan - many thanks to our 6th Dans, Darren Longstaff & Mark Heaton for their constructive sessions. Now for a bit of relaxation 🍻 Next years course will be 15th to 18th January 2026👌 Book for next year within next 4 weeks for the ‘come back soon’ booking discount 👍 see everyone next year 🥋😀

Just finished our 50th Anniversary Chojinkai Clubs Championships at 4pm today after a 10am start. A massive thanks to all the officials & helpers, giving up their day for the benefit of our great Association & especially Chris, our Events Coordinator 👌 150 entrants from all of our 8 clubs & happily all the clubs entrants medalled, from 4yrs to 59yrs 👏👏👏🥇🥈🥉

Our 50th Anniversary Chojinkai Clubs Championships all underway at 10am with the Little Dragons section 4 to 6 yrs - Juniors & Seniors to follow later.

Excellent turnout today for our Quarterly Senior Training & Grading Course conducted by Doug James 9th Dan, Ray Hind 7th Dan & Darren Longstaff 6th Dan. We covered Advanced Kata, Ippons, Ohyu & Kihon Gumite & introduced everyone to the Syllabus changes, particularly the new combinations for 2nd & 3rd Dan. Many congratulations to Aidan Kidd (Haltwhistle) & April Charnley who graded to 2nd Kyu Brown Belt. Our next Chojinkai event is the 50th Anniversary of our Clubs Championships on 12th October @ Penrith Leisure Centre 🥋

A fantastic day of camaraderie & friendship today at our Chojinkai Fun Day. Over 150 members & parents turned out & we raised £500 for the Great North Air Ambulance 👏👏 A brilliant joint effort by the organising team & a massive thank you to the club head & senior instructors who made the day possible 🥋👍
