Behind every gorgeous set of nails and smooth pair of legs is a woman who’s rearranged the same appointment 47 times, forgotten to eat lunch, ordered stock at 11pm and is mentally running through tomorrow’s diary whilst washing up. 🙃

Throw in college, children, a house and a family to look after and it’s a miracle I remember what day it is 🥂

But would I swap it? ABSOLUTELY NOT 🥹💗
I love my little beauty bar, my gorgeous clients and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

So if I take 3–5 business days to reply to your message… I’m probably just trying to remember why I walked into the kitchen. 🤣

🏆 WELL… I’VE GONE BACKWARDS 😂

Last year I came 4th in Nail Technician of the Year…
This year I came 6th. 😂🙈

But do you know what? I’m actually really bloody proud of that. 🥹💗

Because while technically I’ve dropped two places, this year I’ve somehow decided that running Harriet’s Beauty Bar, being a mum, looking after my family and caring for Mum clearly wasn’t enough to keep me busy…

So I’ve GONE BACK TO COLLEGE to complete my Beauty Diploma too. 😂📚
I could have stayed in my comfort zone and concentrated purely on nails. Instead, I’m investing in myself, learning new skills and working towards making Harriet’s Beauty Bar bigger and better — with even more treatments for you girls. ✨

And amongst all of that, I’ve still managed to be named a North West Regional Winner and 6th Nail Technician of the Year 2026. 🏆
For a little home beauty business in Cumbria, that feels pretty bloody special. 🥹

And hopefully it tells anyone who hasn’t booked with me yet a little something about how seriously I take my work.
I’m fussy. 😂
I don’t rush appointments.
I care about the health of your natural nails.
I’m constantly learning and improving.
And I genuinely want you to leave my little pink room LOVING what you’ve had done. 💅🏼

So yes… 4th to 6th might look like a step backwards.
But behind the scenes, I feel like I’m taking the biggest step forward I’ve ever taken. 💗
