Lip Blush Laser Removal ✨

I loved helping my clients regain her confidence, and this journey in trusting the process (and the science!) behind laser removal.

This lovely client came to me feeling unhappy with her previous permanent makeup. A brown pigment had been used in an attempt to create a n**e pink shade, which unfortunately left uneven, dark patches across the full lip area. (Please note: the original lip blush was not performed by myself).

Cosmetic pigment removal requires a strategic, phased approach, as certain pigments change colour when hit by a laser.

Session 1 (The 532nm Filter): We began by targeting the pink tones using the 532nm wavelength. Following a thorough patch test, we knew the pigment was highly likely to oxidise. I pre-warned my client that her lips would actually turn darker before they got lighter. As expected, they did!

Session 2 (The 1064nm Filter): Once the pigment oxidised and darkened, it allowed us to switch gears. For the second session, we utilised the 1064nm wavelength to effectively target and break down those newly formed darker tones.

These results are after just two sessions! The lips already look remarkably softer and brighter, and the uneven dark patches have significantly faded.

We have one final session scheduled to clear the last remaining traces of pigment and return the lips to a beautifully clean and natural.

Managing pigment oxidation takes expertise and clear communication, and I am so grateful to my client for trusting my knowledge and the journey. 💖
