I honestly love seeing the difference every time I work on these dreads, they look so much neater, tidier and more defined afterwards. 🖤

The gorgeous dreads were made by the lovely Infinity Dreads and I absolutely loved installing this transformation!

✨ We have a new member of the dreadlock family! ✨

I started these partial baby dreads yesterday, and each time we meet for her mum’s maintenance session, we’ll be adding another row.

This is such a great way to ease yourself into dreadlocks without having to commit to a full head straight away. You can start small, see how you feel with them, and build your set gradually.

My client asked for blunt ends and no extensions and that’s exactly what she got. I absolutely love how they’re looking already, and I can’t wait to see how they settle and develop over time. 🖤

Matted Hair Brushout! ❤️

Yesterday I spent 5 hours working on this seriously matted head of hair.

Underneath, the hair was completely felted together, not just a few knots, but a solid mass that needed a LOT of patience, careful sectioning and some serious detangling.

The goal was always to preserve as much of the client’s own hair as possible, rather than reaching straight for the scissors. So we took our time, worked through it bit by bit and slowly brought the hair back to life. No hair was cut during this process although my. client knew this could be a possibility.

5 hours later… what a transformation!

Please don’t be embarrassed if your hair becomes severely tangled or matted. It happens, and there is absolutely no judgement here. ❤️

Sometimes it just needs someone with the patience, time and right approach to work through it.

Another satisfying brushout complete! ✨

Removal of Pink Synthetic Dreads & 6 New Human Hair Dreads

I created and installed my lovely client’s first set of dreads last year, but she had more hair than we expected, so we added some synthetic dreads to make up the numbers.

Today we removed 6 of those and replaced them with beautiful human hair dreads. She now has a full head of human hair dreadlocks, and they are exactly what she wanted. 🖤

Obviously, I forgot to take any before photos 🤦‍♀️ but here’s a beautiful photo to show off her gorgeous dreads!

Dreadlock Maintenance 🩷🤍

Lovely session yesterday on these human hair dreadlock extensions that I handmade and installed last year. They have settled in so beautifully!
