Sometimes you step into a room and instantly feel the shift in energy. Today, I went over to see the lovely Simmi exhibition in Tean with my friend Mel , and I left feeling completely awe-inspired by her story, her spirit, and her artwork. As you can see in the video, her pieces are simply exquisite.
Simmi shared how she used to deal with a serious case of imposter syndrome. And yet today, watching her in her element, she is an absolute force. What I love most is seeing this queen step into her power and charge her worth. I love when a woman does that! It was such a moving reminder that so many of us carry those quiet doubts, but when we own our value, incredible things happen.
One of the most special parts of the exhibition is a large collaborative canvas where Simmi invites every woman who walks through the door to leave her own mark. It’s an evolving abstract piece - a collective homage to the Divine Feminine and a celebration of the goddess energy within us all.
I took the paintbrush and added my own green, flowing loops to represent women as soft, round, circular beings who spend so much of their lives holding space and caring for everyone around them. Standing there with other women, each adding their unique stroke to the same canvas, was so powerful.
It made me realize even more deeply how much women crave community, connection, and real spaces where they feel heard and held. Beyond the treatments I offer at Gisira, that’s what this work is truly about - giving women a safe haven to pause, exhale, and just be.

One of my lovely clients sent me this yesterday.
I do like the longevity of gels. I do like the caring ingredients.
