Hairdressers know the truth: the wild colours may leave, but they never stay gone for long. 😂

Once upon a time, all the princesses had long flowing hair and followed the rules.

Then along came one little girl who stuck two fingers up to Princess Hair and said, “Cut it off!”

So I waved my magic wand… SWISH!

Off came the long blonde locks and on came the coolest haircut in the kingdom.

The princesses were jealous, the dragons were impressed, and her mum cried all the way home.

A lot of my clients ask me what the difference is between Olaplex and K18, so I thought I’d make it nice and simple. 🤍

Although they’re both designed to improve the condition of your hair, they actually work in completely different ways.

✨ Olaplex works by repairing broken disulfide bonds in the hair. These bonds can become damaged through colouring, bleaching, heat styling and everyday wear and tear. By repairing them, Olaplex helps strengthen the hair and improve its overall health.

✨ K18 uses a patented peptide technology that works deeper within the hair to help reconnect broken keratin chains. This helps restore strength, softness, elasticity and manageability.

So, which one is best?

Honestly, they both have their place. Olaplex focuses on rebuilding the hair’s bonds, while K18 focuses on repairing the keratin structure. Because they target different areas of damage, they can work really well alongside each other.
