If you've been nervous about extensions, this is for you.
That flinch when the tools get close? Completely normal. But it doesn't hurt, it doesn't damage your hair, and you're in safe hands the whole way through.

Nobody shows you the bit in the middle.
The mixing, the blending, the getting it exactly right for one specific head of hair.
I take extensions that aren't fit for my client and repurpose them into bespoke keratin bonds.
Powder mixed by hand, brown and clear, until it disappears into the hair.
Rush this and it shows. I'm not having that.
And yes, I finish every set with a little dance. Enjoy.

Claire was referred to me by another stylist because her hair was too fine for most people to touch. So fine it barely held a clip.
It has been through a lot over the years including breakage and loss.
So we didn't rush. We made a plan, baby steps, nothing that would put pressure on her hair or her scalp.
Everything had been planned out and we'd even made a Hybrid option just in case.

Everyone tells you extensions ruin your hair. I hear it constantly.
So here's the same client, a year apart. Her own hair before her first set of nanos, and her own hair now. Longer and healthier. 💚
I want to be clear about this bit because it matters.
The extensions didn't "grow" her hair. What happened is her hair was never damaged in the first place, and she came back every 10 to 12 weeks like clockwork, so it just got on with growing.
And this is my favourite part. At her last maintenance her own hair had actually outgrown the extensions. We had to cut it back to blend. So this time we've moved her onto keratin bonds and matched them to her new length, which means the extensions blend into her hair now rather than her hair being trimmed to fit them. 🥹✨
That's what it looks like when it's done properly. Nobody ever mentions the maintenance though, do they. It's the whole trick and it's the bit that gets left out.
You don't have to be scared of extensions.
