The procedure is generally very comfortable, but for anyone who feels sensitive or nervous, numbing cream can be applied beforehand to make the treatment more comfortable.

Negotiators — I don’t see negotiation as part of my job. I have all my prices clearly listed, and I won’t be giving personal discounts or reducing my prices. I believe we should all respect each other, our time and our hard work. Constantly asking for discounts can honestly feel quite disrespectful.

Disrespectful behaviour — If a client walks in with a disrespectful attitude or behaves badly, it is my choice whether I want to work with that person. As I said, we are all human, and sometimes we have bad days — but bad behaviour should be left at home. You never know what someone else might be going through, so there is really no need for unnecessary disrespect or attitude.

Friends or relatives hovering over me while I’m working — At the end of the day, I’m working with needles, and I need to be able to fully concentrate on what I’m doing. Everyone needs to give the practitioner the space and distance needed to focus on their work. I’m mentioning this because, trust me, there are plenty of people who don’t quite understand boundaries. 😂

“No deposit” believers — I’ve had huge problems with this in the past. A high number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows means my time is wasted, when that appointment could have been given to someone else. It’s disappointing and, honestly, disrespectful to the time I’ve set aside for you. There is a lot more I could say about this, but I’ll save it for a separate video. 😂
