.....if your therapist- (whether that's beauty therapist, reflexologist, massage therapist, treatment therapist, any kind of therapist)- is having a bad day, you're guaranteed to have a bad treatment. That's because during a treatment 'energy' is transferred between the client/ customer and the therapist. If there's any kind of bad vibes, negative energy, anger or if the therapist "is just not feeling up to it" the customer will also feel it by the treatment they receive.
Have I had people turn up for a treatment in a bad vibe/ negative attitude- of course I have. Have I ever stopped that from me giving the best treatment for them that day- absolutely not!!
Do I cleanse my own energy- yes of course, I can't carry around everyone else's emotions- they would get too heavy!
Do I cleanse your energy- yes (but don't tell anyone, that bit is a secret 😉 🤫 !)
There's a dual purpose to certain parts of a treatment- not only do I stretch and think of my posture but I think of you too!!
If you wish to talk through the entire massage that's cool- if you wish to ahem "fall asleep" then that's cool too!!

What people don't see.....yes my bed does get cleaned.....after every treatment it gets wiped with anti-bacterial wipes and if I'm at home it gets a "deep clean" with something stronger.
I always wait 100% dry before putting my bed away and I always make sure the face hole is thoroughly cleaned with wipes and cleaner.

Being a massage therapist doesn't mean just a bit of "rubbing the skin", it means being on top of your game- physically you need to be fit because it's taxing on the body, mentally you need to be fit because if you're not in the healing frame of mind it can have a negative effect on your customer, and emotionally fit because you're their therapist, a lot of people tell you about their struggles, their issues and you're essentially their ear if they need it. Improving myself helps to help you.....we're in this together ❤️ 💪 while you're in my care, relax- you're in safe hands, I've got you 😘

I only ever gave myself 3 years, and if it didn't work out, then I knew at least I tried. As it happens due to reasons beyond my control, each place I've been located has closed or other things, and I've never actually reached my 3 year target......so I figured I'd keep going. Apparently, I'm also good at it, so 🤷🏻‍♀️ here's to another "3 years" of massage, by yours truly!! Thank you to everyone who keeps me going even when, yes, sometimes I do feel like giving up!!! It's the feeling of making people feel the benefit of massage and feeling better, which makes me continue to try my best and do what I do best-massage!!1

People say to me all the time "excuse the mess" but here's a fun fact, homes are meant to be lived in and honestly this is my front room- although tidy-ish it's not a show home- it's my home and there's evidence of my children and evidence of our every day lives.
Personally I'm really not bothered if you haven't hovered, if you have animals (or children 🤣) and I'm not really bothered if you haven't tidied away your life.....I'm there to treat your muscles not to inspect your house 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'll always say hello to your pets,family and children, even your other half.....as long as I have enough room for my bed (or in this case chair) then we're good. You're in safe hands- trust your therapist 😘💪1

Most people buy a car because it looks nice, I buy a car that fits my massage bed in 🤷🏻‍♀️ if it doesn't fit my bed in then it's a no from me- but if the car looks nice then that's also a bonus.....after test driving a car yesterday I also have to think about whether or not it hurts my foot (dodgy clutch foot still hurts driving). Thanks to the drunk driver that broke my very beautiful S.A.S I am still without a car. Once bones are no longer hurting and my replacement car has been organised.....I WILL BE BACK 💪 I've had too many people telling me I'm good at what I do and that I've helped fix them and made them feel better, to give up now. Please look out for updates as I will be having a social media mass overhaul and will keep you all informed. Can't wait to fix you all again 🥰😘
