Authenticity matters, and these prints are a little glimpse of me.

I use humour in therapy often, not to minimise or invalidate, but to connect.

I believe therapy works best when you feel you’re sitting with a real person, not just a professional.

Have you ever caught yourself saying:

- “I’m not struggling enough to need therapy.”

- “What’s the point in talking about it?”

- “I just have to get on with it.”

If so, why not book a free introductory session?

You don’t have to be at breaking point to benefit from counselling - although if that’s where you are, that’s ok, too.

It was my first week in the office in Crook and what a week it’s been! Just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of those who have reached out for support and to those who have liked and shared my posts. It’s massively appreciated!

Looking forward to seeing what’s to come and to continuing to offer support to those in the area.

Why would someone go for counselling? 🤔

- To find tools and strategies to help with mental health struggles

- To celebrate the wins in their life

- To explore choices to help make a decision

- To help themselves find direction in life

- To increase their self awareness and learn more about themselves

And so many more reasons!

Counselling isn’t just for those in crisis, it can be utilised in whichever way you want it to be.

I’m in Crook town centre, right next door to the doctors.

There is a large free car park at the back of the office building so parking should be easy.

Step free access is provided via a ramp at the main entrance.
