I'm Gina!
I'm a nail tech based in Elegant Nails by Garn in Crook, County Durham.
I qualified as a natural nail care specialist and in gel and builder gel application in 2023.
I followed up with training in e-filing, nail health, and hard-gel application, and I am currently going further in depth with another hard-gel course because I love using it.

I use an e-file throughout the service for removal and rebalance, then cuticle, skin, and nail plate preparation. Everyone has different skin and nail types, so I will alter my tools and technique depending on what is in front of me. No two clients' manicures are exactly the same - each requires a slightly different approach.

I’m a stickler for detail and thorough prep, so this is not a rushed job. If you want super speedy in and out, then I'm not the tech for you 🙂

My appointment times are:
💅🏼1-1.5hr for gel manicure with plain colour, french, cat eye, chrome, basic nail art
💅🏼2-2.5hr for hard gel manicure with plain colour, french, cat eye, chrome, basic nail art
💅🏼3hr+ for hard gel manicure with detailed nail art, layered techniques, multiple techniques

When you book, please give me an indication of what you would like. It helps a gal out with timings, plus I like to have a practice beforehand! 😊

We've grown her length out over her first two appointments so this is now natural length.

This could be done with a variety of colours or even catseye 😻 or chrome/foil.

This lovely client has been with me since my first day in May and just look at these nails now 😍
All natural length, all healthy and all fabulous. Adore every colour she picks too.

These are all hard builder gel overlay on natural nails. The nail plate and surrounding skin is prepared using a dry e-file manicure method.
