How is this my workspace one day and this the next? By saying yes. My dad wheats asked me if you look at what’s the worst that can happen and you can live with it - then go for it say yes,
Yes to looking at things from other angles.
Yes to backing myself.
Yes to jumping in even when I’m afraid.
Yes to working hard
Yes to self development
Yes to aligning with what feels right to my core
Nothing is given. Take nothing for granted - show up with grace - grit and consistency and watch the world unfold.

There’s 4 months left of this year.
Personally it’s been one hell of a journey of growth, loss, letting go, pivoting. Tears, adventures, a broken heart and moments of pure grace and sheer joy.
Those who’ve crossed my path and held space - I thank you. Those dear to me and have held me close - I cherish you.
I sat with the moon and my inner most thoughts last night and it’s time. And the below - yep it will have emotion, raw and real. And I love it. The way it ends though - that’s my story and I know it ❤️

Grateful for the space the Universe is creating in my life, even when it isn't comfortable or convenient for me.

PROTEIN POWER
Had a conversation last night with a friend struggling to get enough protein in her diet. I'm not always in the mood for eggs and meat - and sometimes I don't always want to "chow down on a smoothie" 🙄
Why is it important? Every cell in the human body contains protein. The basic structure of the protein is a chain of amino acids. It would be best if you had protein to help your body repair cells and make new ones and there are 5 reasons why it can help you stay in shape.
1. Speeding recovery after exercise and/or injury.
2. Reducing muscle loss.
3. Building lean muscle.
4. Helping maintain a healthy weight.
Curbing hunger.
Dietary Reference Intake report for macronutrients, a sedentary adult should consume 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight, or 0.36 grams per pound. That means that the average sedentary man should eat about 56 grams of protein per day, and the average woman should eat about 46 grams. So I have this yummy recipe that I have tried and tested and it is low sugar, high protein, and hits the spot :)
Enjoy!!

coconut oil spray
2 cups liquid egg whites (if you want to use eggs - then about 8 eggs - tip for yolks at bottom)

1 cup old fashion oats, divided
1 cup frozen blueberries, divided
1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C/350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 12-tin muffin pan with coconut oil spray.
In a blender combine the egg whites, protein powder, ¾ cup oats, ½ cup blueberries, lemon zest, sea salt and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
Pour the batter evenly between the 12 muffin tins. Divide the remaining blueberries evenly between the muffins and drop them into the batter. Place a sprinkle of the remaining oats on the top of each muffin.

Hello 2023
It's mid Jan and I've been hibernating. Realigning what feels right for my being. My body, my mind, my soul. In the moment, listening in, redefining boundaries and readjusting to this new season, new time, going inward and really feeling what sits right with me.
Its a funny thing, for the first time I don't feel like I need to apologise for taking time. I'm making big shifts and decisions and this is just how my body process it. It feels good. Taking time, space and intention. I'm here for it all. 2023 is all about the alignment 🥰

Grateful for plan B
Grateful for my health and good ageing health
Grateful for my home 🏡 and a good support community 🥰
Gratitude is a funny thing. You can look round and feel miserable, and then if you open yourself to feeling grateful about one or two small things per day, you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. ✨💫
Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions.
Once expressed it changes attitude, brightens and broadens our perspective. What’s not to embrace about that? ✨💫
