Released in 2013, this special edition Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Doernbecher' was designed by Cole Johnson, an 11 year old cancer patient at Doernbecher Hospital. The shoe features a Varsity Red diamond patterned upper with black accents and red elephant print overlays at the toe and heel. It also comes with the words "Corage" and "Strength" on the insole, a black and metallic silver midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.

Nike have sued Warren Lotas for his SB Dunk silhouette! His most recent offering, the Pigeon Dunk was actually co-signed by Staple Pigeon Dunk creator Jeff Staple, who himself took to Instagram to spread the news to his over quarter-million followers. Unlike the original Pigeon Dunks, there were no set amount of pairs available, but rather a 15-minute window in which interested consumers could order as many as they want,  made to order in overseas factories and delivered weeks later.
Nike alleges in their suit, the shoes are “confusingly similar” to the famous Dunk sneaker. The colorway is tit-for-tat. It even has the legendary pigeon embroidery on the heel. Nike added, “Warren Lotas intentionally created the confusion, and he is attempting to capitalize on it, by, among other things, using Nike’s registered Dunk word mark, using Nike’s registered Dunk trade dress, and using a mark that is confusingly similar to Nike’s famous Swoosh design to promote and sell his fakes.”
The subtle difference of Lotas’ from actual SB Dunks is the infusion of a hockey mask. But the Pigeon Dunk rips really struck a nerve, and it seemed primarily due to Jeff’s co-sign. What's your thoughts in this situation?

Despite nearing the end of its anniversary celebrations, the Nike Air Max 1 still surprises with its upcoming releases. From a collaboration with denim purveyor DENHAM to the return of the Lemonade Air Max 1 Powerwall, there’s a lot to look forward to later this year; and according to sneaker insiders, expect much more from the silhouette, including the exposed stitch Air Max 1 NRG.
Aside from the aforementioned accent, the pair seems to be relatively ordinary. Mudguards brandish with a dark black swatch of leather, accenting along the lower half below colors of light blue and a heather red. These shades, whose lighter visual imprint provides noteworthy contrast, is delivered in a slightly distressed textile that features intentional pilling and a texture near denim like in its appearance. Elsewhere, smooth white panels line underneath, matching most but not all the stitches that surround the entire construction in Frankenstein fashion. No release date just yet for this pair.
