We’re on our holibags (🙌), so what do we take pics of? Sheep of course 😉
There are also stunning views and ice cream. We have Dexter cattle along with the Old Norwegian sheep around us but I haven’t spotted any chickens yet 🤔

Anthony finished clipping the sheep today, we only have a few so he takes his time and just clips whoever is ready and gets close enough for him to get hold of!
What did I get to do whilst he sat around with the sheep? Pull thistles…….🤷‍♀️

Lots of pics! A lovely day pottering started with finding little cheepy fluffy things 🥰 Unfortunately only 4 out of the 12 eggs we’d ordered hatched but they are very cute and mum hen is very happy. They have the use of the sheep shed, the height of luxury indeed…..
The garlic was ready to be harvested and is now hanging in the shed and see that teeny tiny courgette appearing!
The sheep were happy to see us, briefly - we didn’t take treats so they got bored quickly!
And finally, the cats. Grey and Stripey are making use of the sheep pens for lounging and Black cat spent the morning guarding the door 😼

This afternoon we got to have a quick look in the hive. Lots of busy buzzing bees which is a good start! We moved a couple of the outer frames into the middle so they can draw those out, had a quick look for any queen cells and thankfully none to be found. We didn’t see the queen today, however, as we have bees we know she’s in there somewhere. We’ll have a proper look for her on the next check. For now it was as little disturbance as possible. There’s something about being in the midst of a LOT of curious bees that’s a mix of mild panic and fascination!😏🐝🤣

When you throw 2 of your broody’s out of the house so you can clean it! These girls are standing on the ramp making it very clear they’re not at all happy they’ve been evicted and their door is shut 🙈🤣🤣

We’ve got 5 on a continuous broody cycle, 4 currently broody. 1 has been given fertile eggs, 1 is in jail and these 2 are getting thrown out daily to make sure they eat and drink whilst they wait their turn in jail!
