Sometimes it’s important to stop and be proud of how far you’ve come.

At 35, I’m a mum to two children (plus two awesome bonus kids), I’ve earned two degrees and several professional qualifications, and this week I signed contracts worth hundreds of millions of pounds to secure gas supply for Scotland’s public sector.

Do I have it all? Not quite. Some weeks my career is thriving while my fitness takes a back seat. Other weeks I’m making incredible memories with the kids while the house is upside down.
