🦋 Let me share a super special moment from my livestream today 🦋

I used to be a little skeptical about ‘signs’ but more and more, I believe in them since losing special people and pets.

Last month I lost my furbaby Mia. Mia was my soulmate, the most special dog you could imagine and she was a huge part of my livestreams. I was so upset going live without her. On Tuesday this week, one of my first lives back since losing Mia, we were talking about her and a butterfly flew into my craft room - something which has never happened. I then couldn’t see the butterfly and assumed it had got out somehow.

Today, two full days later during my second live back, we again were talking of Mia when Kathrine asked if I ever found the butterfly from Tuesdays live, which I hadn’t. Neither me or my husband saw it in the preceding two days and I haven’t left the house. Just after Kathrine asked about it, I saw in on the window! I had been over to the window multiple times earlier in the day and it wasn’t there, it just appeared when talking about Mia!

I did capture it and let it out, and at no point did it try and fly away from me even when I was so close to it, showing people on my live.

Some may think I’m crazy, but I truly believe this is her saying hi. In memory of Mia, we planted a Buddliah flower in our garden, which are known to attract butterflies, so every time I see a butterfly I now think of her. This was her way of checking in on us 🦋

I’d like to introduce you all to the newest member of The Handmade Resin Art Co … everybody, meet Lady Sadie 🐾

As you all know, we lost our beautiful girl Mia after 16 and a half years and it broke our hearts. The silence in the house that followed her passing was unbearable and we knew that giving another puppy an amazing life that Mia had was the only way to properly heal.

I’ve been very quiet on here whilst I recovered from the grief of losing Mia and adapting to the sleep deprivation and chaos of a 9 week old puppy but I am still open for commissions and will hopefully be getting back to regular posts and events very soon!

Today I had to say goodbye to my beautiful soul dog, Mia. I was so lucky to have shared over 16 years of adventures, love and companionship with her. She saved me from a very lonely dark time in my life all those years ago and I created a bond with her like no other. Today’s loss has broken my heart into pieces that’ll never fully heal.

Please be patient with me in shipping orders out, there will be a delay. Equally, I am putting new orders on hold until I can face day to day life without her. Messages will be responded to when I am able.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding during the saddest part of my life 🩷

Last weekend I held my first ‘Curated Collection Mystery Scoop’ event and it was amazing. I created 29 custom hampers of resin and non resin treats for my lovely customers.

I do have a lot of items remaining, so for this weekend only, mystery collections are reduced to only £40 plus postage! This is a huge saving of £14.95! Each person will get a minimum of 10 items and all categories except crochet pals are still available!
