Recognising the Signs of Diabetes
While the symptoms below can manifest in both types of diabetes, they often develop more slowly in type 2 diabetes, making them easier to overlook.

Increased Thirst
Persistent, excessive thirst not relieved by drinking.

Frequent Urination
Needing to urinate often, particularly at night.

Extreme Tiredness
Persistent fatigue not alleviated by rest.

Unexplained Weight Loss
Losing weight without changes to diet or exercise routine.

Ge***al Itching or Thrush
Itching or frequent thrush around the ge***al area.

Slow-Healing Wounds
Wounds that heal very slowly, more than usual.

Blurred Vision
Persistent blurred vision without a clear cause.

If you notice several of these symptoms, consider getting tested for diabetes and then discuss your results with your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

Planning your family or concerned about your fertility?
An AMH (Anti Müllerian Hormone) test provides a snapshot of your ovarian reserve, showing how your egg supply compares with typical levels for your age. It can support decisions around family planning, fertility treatment, and the assessment of conditions such as PCOS or early menopause in discussion with your healthcare professional.
KP Pharma Health offers AMH testing as a simple blood test, with clear ranges to help guide next steps with your GP or fertility specialist.

High Cholesterol Usually Causes No Symptoms – but it can silently damage your arteries over time. Even without symptoms, cholesterol testing is recommended every 5 years in healthy adults — and more often if risk factors are present.
Visit the KP Pharma Health website to cholesterol test, find a convenient location and book a time that works for you.

Hormones play a huge role in how you feel day to day, and changes are not always easy to spot. An FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) test can give helpful insight into your reproductive and overall hormonal health, helping to guide earlier support where needed.

Folate help your body make red blood cells, maintain nerve health and generally feel good. Deficits are detected earlier and treated to avoid complications such as anaemia, neuropathy and cognitive decline.
Folate deficiency develops slowly but can lead to serious health problems if not treated, as it interferes with healthy red blood cell production and nerve and brain function.

Common symptoms to watch for include rapid breathing or shortness of breath, headaches, dizziness, indigestion, appetite loss, palpitations, vision problems, fatigue, weakness and cognitive changes such as memory loss, confusion or difficulty concentrating. You may also notice neurological symptoms more specific to B12 deficiency (numbness, pins and needles or muscle weakness in the hands and feet), psychological problems such as low mood, anxiety or confusion, and a sore or red tongue with mouth ulcers.

If several of these symptoms sound familiar, a folate test can be a helpful first step before discussing your results with your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.
KP Pharma Health makes it easy to access folate testing alongside other blood tests, with clear results you can review with your GP.
