By cauterising as I work, I can carefully remove the lesion while minimising bleeding and protecting the surrounding healthy tissue. Treatments like this highlight how important technique and experience are in achieving a clean, controlled result.

Why can we safely use advanced electrolysis around the eyes, despite the skin being so delicate?
✨We use a very fine probe which allows for exceptional precision.
✨ A light touch with the correct setting minimises unnecessary trauma to the skin.
✨ Healthy surrounding tissue is preserved, supporting optimal healing.
✨ Learning the correct techniques is paramount to achieving safe, predictable outcomes.

One of the biggest transformations I see in clinic is the improvement of xanthelasma.
These cholesterol deposits can be very noticeable, often appearing as raised yellow plaques around the eyes. Because of their location and colour, they can be difficult to conceal and many clients become increasingly self-conscious about them.
Being able to help improve their appearance can have a huge impact on how a client feels about themselves.
Treatment requires a gentle, precise approach with a light touch, appropriate current intensity and a thorough understanding of the lesion structure. It’s also important that clients understand the healing process, as xanthelasma often looks worse before it looks better. Swelling, crusting and colour changes during healing can be completely normal, with the final result taking time to reveal itself.
Patience, careful technique and good aftercare are key to achieving the best possible outcome.

Travelled all the way to Wales yesterday to spend the day with the lovely Claire and what a fantastic day it was 🤍
One of the things I love most about delivering Advanced Electrolysis Specialist Training is meeting the most wonderful practitioners and spending time in their beautiful clinics and treatment spaces.
Claire joined me for a bespoke skin blemish removal masterclass and the day flew by. We chatted through so many of the finer details that make all the difference when treating skin lesions safely and effectively.
If you’re based in South Wales and looking for a skilled, caring practitioner, Claire at in Blaenau Gwent is most definitely your lady 🤍
Thank you for such a lovely day, Claire. It was an absolute pleasure 😁
When treating verrucas with Advanced Electrolysis, I always wear a surgical mask because the treatment can produce a very fine plume as the tissue is cauterised. If you watch very closely you can actually see this in the video.
This plume can sometimes contains tiny airborne particles and tissue debris, so maintaining good infection control and high clinical standards is really important. Wearing appropriate PPE helps create a safer and more professional treatment environment for both practitioner and client.
Have a great day
